After attending many conferences over the years, I can say that Skitech is unique. It brings together senior operators, founders and investors in the fintech space, in an energizing environment that can’t help but lead to more engaging and creative conversations. I came away from Skitech with new connections forged and opportunities to pursue. Very worthwhile and I will be back!

ABOUT US
We aren’t sure how much you know about Skitech, but it started in 2015 when Bob Hyer invited Todd Ablowitz, Jeremy Wing and Adam Bloomston to go skiing. They invited about a dozen other payments executives on that trip as well, which gave them the idea to set up an annual payments industry meet-up for CEOs and investors interested in skiing. By the end of the first day, we knew we had something special. What we didn’t expect was how much business ended up getting done. Now, Skitech is known as the premiere invite-only destination for the most senior people in payments to connect.
Making turns in fresh powder with industry execs has proven to be a winning formula. There is always heavy M&A activity, investments, senior hires and millions of dollars in commercial deals that have been created at this event. While the event is at a winter sports playground, we often have perennial guests who don’t ski or snowboard and, not to worry, Telluride is a spectacular destination for all interests.

Kevin Jones
Leveraging his +20 years in fintech, Kevin founded Celero in late 2018. As CEO, he has executed 10 acquisitions solidifying Celero’s position as a top 10 domestic non-bank payments processor, serving +50k American businesses through strategic partnerships, direct-to-merchant strategies, and integrated distribution channels. In Celero, Kevin is building a premier platform of high-tech, high-touch payments solutions, blending software technologies, data, and payments solutions into an easy-to-consume bundle designed to help small and mid-sized businesses thrive.
Kevin Jones launched his FinTech career at Chase Paymentech building out strategic partnerships with financial institutions and ISVs. Next, he helped drive material growth of the partner channel at First American Payment Systems. In 2018, Kevin successfully exited Anovia Payments, delivering an 8.5x investment return and organic acquisition of +10,000 customers in four years. Kevin also served as President of the Electronic Transactions Association, emphasizing government relations and member advocacy on the Hill.
Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro and lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and three children.

Trevor Kennison
On November 15, 2014, Trevor Kennison suffered a life-altering injury while snowboarding in the Colorado backcountry on Vail Pass. A plumber by trade and an occasional snowboarder, he
found himself wheelchair-bound and facing a future filled with uncertainty and a lack of direction.
On a whim, Trevor decided to try sit-skiing, an adaptive sport that allows wheelchair users to ski. This experience reignited his passion and gave him a new purpose as he began to set goals around his progress in sit-skiing.
In 2019, Trevor made a splash as an unknown amateur at the Kings and Queens of Corbet’s competition in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He became the first sit-skier to launch into the infamous Corbet’s Couloir, executing a breathtaking 60-foot leap that went viral. This moment not only propelled him into a professional athletic career, marking a significant turning point in his life.”
